Paws Up Forever project

There has been a lot of talk about Jamey. The recent gay teen suicide. It has hurt the little monster community hard, Jamey was a little monster and made a “It gets better” video. Lady Gaga first tweet about what happend was “The past days I’ve spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someones life.” Her next post was, “Jamey Rodemeyer, 14 yrs old, took his life because of bullying. http://t.co/Hgq84KyV. Bullying must become be illegal. It is a hate crime.” Her most powerful tweet is, “I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey“. Those are very powerful tweets. It’s obvious Mama monster was effected by what has happened. Well because of Jamey taking his life some of the little monsters (150 of them) started the “Paws Up Forever project”.  It is to help raise awareness and end bullying and suicide among youth. Even though Gaga is seeing the president to make bullying a hate crime the little monster want to help as well. Please help stop bullying and support the Paws Up Forever project.

Lady gaga has helped many people and has done her part for people less charitable. One example is what gaga did to help Japan. Gaga sold wristbands that said “We pray for Japan”. All the proceeds went to the Japan Tsunami relief. You could buy a wristband and donate more money to Japan.

Another example of what Gaga has done that is charitable was during her monster ball tour, she teamed up with Virgin mobile and offered VIP tickets for fans who volunteered their time to support homeless youths organizations. Gaga raised more then 80,000 dollars and her fans volunteered 30,000 community service hours.

The final example I’m going to talk about is when Gaga made a deal with Target. Gaga said, “start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they’ve made in the past.” Gaga continues to say, “Our (Gaga and Target) relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they’ve made supporting those groups.”
